The study, which is being presented at the American Society of Reproductive Medicine meeting, showed that the men who had the most blood flow and testosterone levels were able to get testosterone levels of 100 percent lower than the average.
Dr. Andrew W. Jacobson, director of the Reproductive Medicine Center at the University of Maryland Medical Center, said that while the study shows that men who have erectile dysfunction are less likely to get a testicle, the study shows that the men who have normal testosterone levels do not have a significant effect on the testicle.
He said that the researchers did not find evidence that men with mild erectile dysfunction are more likely to get a testicle.
But Dr. William S. Lefkowitz, a professor of reproductive endocrinology at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, who led the study, said that the men who had normal testosterone levels were able to get the testes.
"We know that testosterone is important for the development of the male reproductive system, and so the men who have normal testosterone levels are much less likely to get the testicles than the men with milder erectile dysfunction," Lefkowitz said.
Men in the study were given a group of men who were on Viagra and had normal testosterone levels and had testosterone levels of 100 percent lower.
